Retirement is the point in life where people assume that they can finally stop working. But my definition of retirement is a little different.

According to me, retirement is that point in your life when you can handpick things that you actually like. Now as per this definition, we would require a good enough size of money pool to continue living our lives (and maintain that quality of life) while doing things which we are passionate about. Therefore, a lot of people give up their dream of early retirement.

In this video, I take through a 6-step process which will help you get an idea of how you can plan your early retirement.

0:00 Introduction
02:34 Estimate your monthly expenditure
08:52 Track your spending
10:45 Track your age
12:37 Save your salary - a certain percentage
15:09 Crash course on retiring early
21:42 Develop skills
22:03 Some Fun with numbers

The goal is not to promote early retirement, but rather push you towards a direction where you feel financially secure and do the things which you really like.

If you too believe in simple living, do let me know in the comments :)

If you want me to cover any particular topic, do comment below. I will definitely cover that in my future videos. :)
