South Korea hosts some of the greatest directors and films in recent memory. Superstars such as Bong Joon-Ho & Park Chan-Wook are widely known throughout the world. Less widely known however is Lee Chang-Dong, another master in the Korean cinematic space. I hope this essay serves as a good introduction to the man himself and some of his works.
