During this Tibet road trip, due to the recent renovation and maintenance of the central line of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway G349, many sections need to be detoured. Today, we continued to detour via Provincial Highway S303 on the way from Luolong County to Qamdo. This section is the Tongka Line in Basu County, from Yongba Township along the Nujiang River and the Nujiang Bridge to Zamakou Mountain. This section is the most dangerous part of this whole trip in Tibet, and I would like to share it with you all to experience it.

The highway from Tibet Provincial Highway 303 to Tongka Town is a key project of the "12th Five-Year Plan" rural highway construction project in Qamdo. The project has been included in the 2012 rural highway project plan. It is an important branch road connecting S303 in the southwest of Guoqingduo and the lifeline of regional economic development and material exchange. It directly affects the lives and travel of nearly 4,000 people in 13 villages in Tongka Town.
