Kenya now has the 12th most costly fuel in the continent with a liter of petrol averagely retailing at over 200 shillings. So deep is the pain at the pump that motorists are finding it hard to keep their engines running and ordinary Kenyans are being forced to dig deeper into their pockets. Subsequently illegal fuel products are now being smuggled into the country simply because they are sourced at cheaper prices
