Jackass Lakes Trailhead is about 1.5 hour drive from the South Gate of Yosemite. Just 27 miles up Beasore Road from Bass Lake. This is a strenuous hike that is a little over 7 miles roundtrip to the upper lake with an approximate 2500' elevation gain. Trail is not well marked so a GPS is reccomended. Overnight camping does require a wilderness permit. Don't forget to like the video and subscribe to ‪@theyosemiteguyd‬ to keep up on all my hiking adventures.
