On the eve of the Italian Grand Prix, the Austrian marque announced that rookie sensation Pedro Acosta will be promoted in Miller's stead as part of a multi-year contract. Miller will not be riding for the factory KTM squad next year.

Although Acosta's strong early form with Tech3 GasGas made him an obvious choice for the factory seat, Miller, the sophomore for KTM, had a difficult 2024 season before the announcement.
