One of these developments was a rheostat to precisely control the rotational speed of the shaft. The journey to prominence of the brushless motor began in the early 1960s with the arrival of a power dimmer capable of converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). The biggest revelation behind the brushless motor concept was the absence of a physical switch to conduct the current. Until 1980, this type of electromotor did not really get off to a good start and did not succeed.
Why is the brushless electric motor economical?
In a normal electric motor, the rotor is driven inside the stator. Both are connected by an electrical connection: the collector or the commutator, which is in contact with the small carbon brushes. With brushless technology, the rotor consists of magnets and the stator of coils that are alternately positively or negatively charged.
