Today I'm taking you to the Asean Cafe in Takasaki. This is one of the only restaurants in Gunma prefecture and the surrounding areas that serve authentic Indonesian food. It was pretty tasty! And luckily while I was there, I met many friendly Indonesians who shared a little bit of their story about how they ended up in Japan. After lunch with my friends, we headed over to the Sumber Rejeki Mart to check out what they sell. It seemed like all the Indonesians that went there to eat lunch at the restaurant went to the international store to load up on goodies they couldn't find anywhere else.
