The Festival of Kano (February 01 to February 05, 1959). At this festival, the United African Company (the trading arm of Unilever on the African continent) was launching a new product: LIPTON's Kettle tea. This 4-minute 8mm short film, believed to have been shot by a UAC employee, shows the promotion of the product: the giving away of free cups of tea at UAC's stand on the festival grounds.
