Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting the crossover series The Defenders, which will feature the heroes of four Netflix shows—Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. The first three heroes had series that were well received by critics and fans alike, but Iron Fist didn’t have the same luck. Most everyone agreed that a lot went wrong with the story of Danny Rand, which included poorly developed characters and underwhelming action sequences. Hopefully, they’ll be able to fix the problems by the time he teams up with the Defenders, but let’s take a look at what really went wrong with Marvel’s Iron Fist.
