We made a stop at Bishop's Castle in Rye, CO. This unique and gorgeous castle is still under construction but can be toured. The castle is named after Jim Bishop and there is a great video at the beginning that explains how the castle came about. The entry is free and it is a marvel. We did not climb to the top, but many have.
