I've been brewing coffee with the Flair Pro 2 for about a month now, and I made this video to show you what has now become my daily coffee routine. It takes some practice to dial the grind down to the perfect size for the Flair, but it's a pretty fun (and admittedly sometimes exhausting) process.
The beans I'm using here are Blue Tokai's Barrel Aged blend, where they age the coffee beans in barrels that once used to contain wine. There’s a distinct flavour of wine to the coffee, and they go pretty well together.
Considering that at the time of publishing this video, I have barely fifteen followers, this is by no means a sponsored post. This is the coffee machine, grinder and coffee that I use every day (at the moment).
Speaking of grinders, the one I’m using here is the Helor 101, with Contemporary Burrs. I had a small problem with the grinder for a bit where it’d keep getting loose and messing up the grind size, but I eventually figured that this was because of a loose top nut, that needed to be tightened.

Notes on the grind size:
The Helor is a stepless grinder, and each turn is divided into twelve marked units. Helor recommends 5-18 units for espresso, though the Flair works best on the coarser side of fine, at a size of 19 or 20. Indian coffees seem to do best on 19.
I hope this information should help you with your own grinders and grind sizes while you’re dialling it in for the Flair.

Would I recommend the Flair? If you’re an obsessive coffee geek who loves all things analogue, definitely yes. It is a little tedious, and takes a minimum of ten minutes to get brew (less if you have a good quality electric burr grinder). It does allow the option for you to vary the pressure as per your choice, giving you near infinite variations in your brews.

Do feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions about the Flair!

Stay safe!
