It was my friend, Sue Sara's birthday on September 22nd and I missed it. So sorry about that, Sue. Happy Belated Birthday!

'Magic' by Olivia Newton John off of the "Xanadu" Soundtrack Album which came out in 1980 and featured (on this song) David Hungate on bass.

Lynn and I went to see the band Yacht Lobsters with our friends, Dave & Patty Dentico, last night and they played this song as part of a "Magic" medley, so I took it as a sign that it was time to upload it. "Magic Man" by Heart was part of the medley and Dave felt strongly that it does not fall under the category of "Yacht Rock". The venue we saw them at was The Silk Factory which is exactly .9 miles up the street from our house.

Today is our (Lynn and I) 33rd Wedding Anniversary and what better way to celebrate than to see "The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA" at The Capital Theatre in Port Chester, NY. This tribute has, actual ABBA bassist, Mike Watson playing with them. ABBA really isn't Lynn's thing and she's being a good sport about it.
