It’s been nine years since their first date ended in the ultimate disaster. Leah Washington and Joe Pugh, then just 17 and 18, were caught up in the catastrophic rollercoaster crash at Alton Towers, which left them both with life-changing injuries and resulted in Leah’s right leg having to be amputated. Yet despite the tragic circumstances, their relationship overcame the odds. They join us today, fresh from their honeymoon, to discuss their emotional wedding and reveal how they transformed their traumatic ordeal into the ultimate fairytale.
