This job was quite interesting, and enjoyable.

There were multiple stumps on this property, in the backyard, up a flight of stairs . . .

The biggest and most problematic stump was jammed between a retaining wall, and a concrete slab.

The retaining was was old and failing.
It was being renewed.
We couldn’t get all of the stump off the wall due to the shape of the stump grinders cutterhead, so we spoke with the client about an idea we had, eat the wall!

The client agreed, so we commenced to remove the retaining wall by grinding 😎
This was a first for us, and it was fun.

We removed the wall and all the roots immediately behind it.

Now the new wall can go in easily without roots inhibiting construction.

We then commenced work on all the other stumps throughout the backyard area, giving the clients a clean slate to replant the gardens.
