Welcome to the 1st travel vlog from our Qatar series. Doha is a vibrant city with beautiful skyscrapers and beaches but it is also preserving its traditional and cultural roots.
In this video, we are trying to showcase the two different sides of the market scene in Doha. We visited the famous Souq Waqif which has several attractions, starting from the shops selling arabic garments, spices, fragrances etc., to bird market with hundreds of different birds on display, to falcon souq and a horse stable. Then, we visited the Villaggio Mall, a spectacular and unique mall with Venician vibes. You can enjoy Gondola boat rides, just like Venice. The artificial blue sky and the buildings imitating Venician architecture, is a treat to the eyes.
