Here are some simple handy tips that came supplied as a DVD with my awesome Sunbeam EM-6910....

You'll be a pro in no time at all, just keep practising until you achieve that sweet spot, and where possible try to use freshly roasted/ground beans:). Preferably 48 - 96 hours after they were roasted is generally optimum and good for another 10 tp 14 days, if stored correctly. ie dry cool place in a vacuum container.

I absoultely LOVE my Sunbeam EM-6910, it has saved me literally 10's of thousands of HK $$$ in buying ( terrible ) coffees outside in Hong Kong. More than paid for itself without a single problem, probably because I follow the group head/boiler flushing/cleaning regime to a T, plus we run a 6 stage filtration system of our water, so it keeps a lot of the crap out of my machine.
