NOTE IF YOU DO THIS MOD AND HAVE THE FACTORY SPORT BUMPER, YOU WILL NEED TO ALSO MAKE A SMALL MOD TO IT IN ORDER TO AVOID THE 35" TIRES FROM RUBBING. WATCH THIS VIDEO ON HOW TO DO THAT:    • FREE Mod | Make Your Factory Bumper L...

Thanks for checking out my fifth mod to my Jeep! Next on my list was to
add a lift kit. Luckily we found someone local on the forum selling their nearly new Rubicon Xtreme Recon lift kit as takeoff parts so we decided to try installing it on my JL Sport. At the time of making this video, we didn't see anyone else doing this specific mod, so it was fun to figure it out as we went. Hopefully the tips and tricks we included is helpful.

The end result was great! I ended up with a 3.5" lift for less than $500 - it can't be beat!

The video will cover what parts from the Xtreme Recon you will use, what additional parts you will need to buy, and what parts you should reuse from the Sport.

Stay tuned for upcoming mods and tutorial videos including how to recalibrate your speedometer, customizing the KMC Rockstar III Wheels, a front bumper mod, and adding a new grille.
