Dominic Chambers gives CULTURED an inside look at the themes behind his new exhibition with Lehmann Maupin, “Leave Room for the Wind.” On view through Feb. 3 at the gallery’s New York location, the painting show grapples with the role of leisure in contemporary life. The 2022 CULTURED Young Artist looked to the poetic texts of Tracy K. Smith, Ocean Vuong, and Mary Oliver for inspiration, whose words informed the insular visual topography of his canvases.
