Surah/Quran Ya-Sin (سورة يس) - Beautiful Recitation That Soothes The Heart And Protects From Evil.

Surah Revelation:
Revealed in Mecca this surah occupies the 41st place in the chronological order of revelations just after surah Al Jinn (The Djinns). According to Sheikh Mohammed Ali Essabouni "Surah Ya Sin is a Meccan surah which deals with three main subjects: faith in the Resurrection and the arrival of the day of the last Judgment, the story of the inhabitants of the city (Antaqia) who had rejected the message of the messengers of God and brings arguments proving the uniqueness of the Lord".

This sura is also known to have saved the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) during his trip to Medina, which ranks it among the suras most recited at the bedside of the dying.

Sura theme:
The objective of the sura is to warn the Quraysh of the (disastrous) consequences of their denial of the prophecy of Mohammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him), their tyranny and their mockery.

The surah mentions three main elements, namely: the uniqueness of God and the veracity of the prophecy of his various Messengers, the afterlife, the prophetic mission of Mohamed (peace and blessings of God be upon him)

The verses inform about the resurrection of the dead and the day of ultimate examination, that same day when the disbelievers will be separated from the pious.
We find at the end of the sura a summary of the three pillars of Islam; monotheism, prophecy and resurrection.

All these arguments make Surah Ya Sin designated the heart of the Quran, for what it presents in terms of morality.
