Sit back and relax as we do the work. This time we build the roll-in and a landing for new line over the berm that is yet to be named (suggestions welcome!). Will Smith AKA 'Trails Stig' then steps up to the plate to test what we've built so far. We also ride all the lines we've repaired since lock to see how they feel- spoiler alert - they ride even better than we hoped. There's loads more building to do to get the new line finished so we'll be carrying on with that over the next few months. There is finally some rain in the forecast so we're hoping it will help with the build- I can't wait to get back down to the trails to carry on.

After a weird few months for everyone on the planet, like most people we were eager to get some sense of normality back in our lives. After missing only a handful of Sundays over the last 14 years, it was strange to stay away for 2 solid months. There was no way I could moan though as reality is there are plenty of people in a worse situation than I am so I shut up. Having a break from work gave me the time to finally start posting videos on YouTube... now I have the bug I plan to continue with weekly videos until my bike, shovel, camera and body are all broken.

This week's video shows what we've been up to at the trails over the last week or so. We've only been riding for a week now and we're following all Government guidelines so we can get back that little cheeky hit of adrenaline we rely on each week. We have to keep the number of people down, spread out at the trails and just generally be sensible - but this video shows that social distancing isn't always possible when following Will through the trails... our excitement nearly caused carnage- and it reminded us to chill out a bit!

This video also gives a bit of an introduction to some of the locals- Ian has been busy building- Bob, Pep, Tom, Harry have all been shredding- and we show one of the most naturally talented riders to ever grace our spot- local legend Will Smith. I've filmed with Will for years and it's a good job he's a nice dude as sometimes it's difficult to like him... he goes 2ft higher than everyone and makes it look easy. It irritates me that I can't do the same!!! Haha.
