It's been years since Summerhaven, AZ has had a lodge - until now. The recently opened Mt Lemmon Lodge fills a need the mountain has had for quite some time. For much of the mountain's history, there has been a "heart" of the mountain. It's been nearly 20 years since the last lodge burned down due to the Aspen Fire. The all-new Mount Lemmon Lodge, beautifully inspired by the chalets of Switzerland, is a welcome addition to a revitalized Summerhaven, AZ.

With a check-in time of 3pm, you may find yourself in need of something to do before check-in. Perfect opportunity to make your way to the southern-most ski resort in the United States - Mt Lemmon Ski Valley. The lifts are open year-round - a perfect opportunity to take the lift up, enjoy the views, and hike the many trails sprawling throughout the mountain.

After a trip to Ski Valley, you can make your way back into Summerhaven for lunch at the Saw Mill Run, dessert at the Cookie Cabin, and drinks/snacks/souvenirs at the Mt Lemmon General Store.

When check-in time comes, you're greeted by a welcoming and warm lobby, full of rich/warm wood walls, decor, and a large fireplace. Beautifully inspired by the chalets of Switzerland, the cozy ambiance is a perfect setting for relaxation. Enjoy relaxing in the lobby, play some games or enjoy the firepits on the large outdoor deck, or enjoy some excellent food from Tucson's home-grown Beyond Bread, before heading to your room.

The rooms, named after either historical events or local flora & fauna, are beautifully designed with comfort in mind. Full of amenities, custom-designed furniture, and more - from the fireplace to the plush robes. Plus a large private balcony to enjoy your coffee (or glass of wine from the mini-bar) in the mornings with a beautiful view.
