Soil testing for your lawn is important part of your lawn care program. Soil test results will help determine exactly which fertilizers, micronutrients and other lawn additives your golf course lawn needs to be healthy. DIY soil testing is fast, easy and accurate way to measure the levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (potash) and important micronutrients like iron, magnesium, manganese and zinc.

I used the soil testing kit from MySoil. I chose them because of the fast turnaround and because in addition to providing results, they also offer direct links to amendments to help you fix the issues in your soil. I got my soil test results 6 days after sending the sample out. In this video I'll share my strategy for amending the issues.

I think you'll like the approach because it should resolve the small issues without adding yet another product to the soil. I'm going to make use of the humates in Carbon Pro L to improve the soil health by making the micronutrients and macronutrients that are already in the soil available to the plant.
