My friend from Tokyo came to visit me in the countryside once a week. Her son, a elementary school boy, came along as well.

As a makeup artist, she became aware of the existence of trained dogs that support patients with Type 1 diabetes, as a result of her child's illness. These dogs are known as "diabetes alert dogs". In Japan, rescued dogs that have been spared from euthanasia undergo training and play an active role as alert dogs, but their numbers are still limited and they are not widely recognized by the public.

Therefore, my friend started the organization "DOG CAT HUMAN" to train alert dogs and engage in activities for the rescue of dogs and cats. In January of this year, she started a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds.

I couldn't help but cry when I read the materials for this crowdfunding campaign. I have had a similar experience, but I didn't have the same level of initiative as her. That's why I have great respect for her. I contributed a little to the crowdfunding campaign to show my support.

This is a story about a peaceful day spent chatting with my friend and playing with her son.

The Japanese traditional house was built about 85-90 years ago. It is currently unoccupied, so I go there every week to clean the house and mow the grass in the garden. I have a lot of household chores to do, but I love doing them!

Today, my friend and her son came to my house from Tokyo. She is a makeup artist and she is involved in philanthropic activities for sick children. She used crowdfunding to raise funds for these activities. She is a woman of action, and I greatly respect her.
