I had the chance to climb Ama Dablam in the fall of 2021 with @Seven Summit Treks

Located in the Khumbu region of Nepal, the mountain famously looms over the Everest Base Camp Trek. Its name translates to "mother's necklace," with the the two ridges of the mountain representing the arms of a mother (ama), and the necklace (dablam), being the serac that hangs on its face. Ama is what I call my own mother back home.

We actually spent quite a few weeks at Basecamp, and left to climb Island Peak half way through, so the days are a bit rounded up :)

Anyway, thanks to ‪@JacksonGroves‬ for helping document the journey, and for letting me borrow his drone footage after mine crashed - you can see a screen-recorded bit of my last flight over camp 2 at the end of the video.

And to @Seven Summit Treks for sending us to cover the climb. Thanks Furtengi Sherpa for being an awesome guide!

And finally thanks to Everest Outfit for kitting me out with the summit suit!
