How to install front shocks on my friend's 2008 BMW 328i. After many miles and many Minnesota potholes the front shocks on this BMW 328i are completely blown. This can be noted by a bouncy and unpredictable ride. Replacing the front shocks on a E90/E91/E92 BMW 3-series can be completed by anyone with a bit of mechanical aptitude and know how. Whether you're a seasoned mechanic or a DIY enthusiast, this video is a must-see for anyone looking to upgrade their BMW 3-series. If you opt to save a bit of money by buying just the strut (not shock assembly). You will want to buy a spring compressor and a shock spreader (this is used to remove the lower shock body from the steering knuckle pinch bolt.
