PERNES, é uma vila e freguesia do concelho de Santarém, situada na encosta de um monte, banhada pelos rios Centeio e Alviela. É uma povoação muito antiga, anterior à fundação da nacionalidade. Do património arquitectónico destacam-se a Igreja Matriz e a Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Pernes.
