The Atlantic will remain very active. A low-pressure area could develop into a cyclonic system in the Gulf of Mexico and pose a long-term threat to Florida. Tropical Storm Milton may form in the Gulf of Mexico.

Tropical Storm Kirk will continue to strengthen rapidly into Hurricane Kirk. It is forecasted to be the next major hurricane of the season.

Invest 91L is expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Leslie and eventually Hurricane Leslie. It is still too early to determine if it will be a threat to the Caribbean, though current projection trends suggest it will move over the open waters of the Atlantic.
