If you're not aware of the Forwarded number feature in Talkroute, you're missing out on a super cool advantage for those who work outside the office.

In Talkroute you have users and there are "forwarding phone numbers". You can use these forwarding numbers as a way of directing calls to non-licensed users who don't need the TalkRoute features (softphone, texting, voicemail).

One example where a forwarding number type user makes sense is for a field technician. They operate primarily away from a desk all day. And, their main means of communication is a mobile phone. Setting them up as an extension in the Talkroute system allows them to have a way customers can reach them by calling the main company number and entering their extension.
