Black Tusk attempt on June 12, 2022.
C2C: 11 hours with lots of time taking pictures and video
Equipment: IceAxe, Microspikes and Helmet
The trail was in good shape up until the junction to the Panorama Ridge. Snow starts at around 4KM, but there is tons of traffic, so it is easy even with slushy snow.
The interesting parts started after we departed toward black tusk and we had to break trail. There was one guy earlier who went to a hill close to black tusk who jumped out with a parachute, we followed his path, but decided to change course to avoid any avalanche train. 200 meters to the chimney we stopped to regroup and put on our helmets for the final climb.
Unfortunately, the top part of chimney was still frozen and we did not have crampons and the conditions were deemed too dangerous, so we decided to turn back as it started hailing. The chimney was doable with with t-rated ice axes and full crampons, (and maybe some ice screws to build anchor and rope up) but we didn't have our climbing gear, so decided to bail. See the following video to get an idea of what the chimney looked like.

The Black Tusk hike in Garibaldi Provincial Park is one of the MUST DO hikes in southern BC. It never fails to amaze.
