Locked down in Adelaide, South Australia since the pandemic, Gwyn Ashton put the time to good use recording a massive 110 brand new songs and we are proud to announce the first album to come out of these sessions - mopjosoul. It's a stripped-down mainly acoustic album of swamp blues, gospel, ragtime all with a funky soul to it, with Ashton singing and playing all the instruments; guitar, foot drums, thumb bass and harmonica simultaneously.
