Sel Dunlap, recognized as the General in Chicago for his War on Filth and Fear Campaign. Mr. Dunlap has assumed a documented strategy of proven results by internationally recognized institutions. His community activism began in June of 1973, as the Coordinator for the South Austin Realty Associations (SARA), a community bombarded with vacant structures due to rampant foreclosures.

Sel was looking for an opportunity to be of service to his people one way or the other. A Vietnam veteran, Sel has served as Area Property Manager for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, one of the first 3 Directors of the Chicago Neighborhood Housing Services. He also presents with experience as a restaurant owner and worked for the Office of Recycling in Washington , D.C.
