Dug Stanat worked as the character technical director (digital puppet maker) at PDI/Dreamworks. His movie credits include How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2, Rise of the Guardians, Shrek 2 & 3, Madagascar 1 & 2, Puss in Boots 2, and The Bee Movie. Now, he works as an independent artist. We were very glad to be able to work with him on Journey to the Tree of Sorrows. Here, Dug works on the smoke creature from the short story "The Chamber of the Yellow King".
