Hey everyone, welcome back to channel hydro ns. Hope you all are good.
So, today's video is all about the Pulsar n160 after market exhaust.
There are two types of exhaust:-
1) Full system exhaust
A full-system exhaust, also known as a complete exhaust system, is an aftermarket modification that replaces the entire stock exhaust system of a motorcycle. This system includes components such as the header or exhaust manifold, mid-pipe, catalytic converter, and muffler. Unlike slip-on exhausts that only replace the muffler portion, a full-system exhaust provides a more comprehensive upgrade to the entire exhaust system.
Advantages of Full-System Exhausts
1)Performance Gains
2)Weight Reduction
3)Comprehensive Upgrade
Disadvantages of Full-System Exhausts
1)Cost
2)Installation Complexity
3)Regulatory Compliance

2)Cat- back exhaust
It refers to the components that run from the rear outlet of the catalytic converter all the way back to the exhaust tip.Cat-back exhaust systems will include any pipes that run from the catalytic converter to the muffler, the muffler itself, any pipes that may run from the muffler to the exhaust tips, and the exhaust tips themselves. Some cat-back exhaust systems have a muffler delete, which means no muffler is included.
Advantages of Cat- back exhaust:-
1. Improved Exhaust Flow
2. Enhanced Sound
3. Potential Weight Reduction
Disadvantages of Cat- back exhaust:-
1. Possible Loss of Low-End Torque
2. Legal Compliance
3. Cost
Video also contains the information regarding exhausts with db killer.
So, what is db killer?
It's a device placed inside the final part of the exhaust pipe whose purpose is to significantly reduce the sound level coming from the engine. In other words, it's an exhaust silencer.
How does a dB Killer work?
The motorcycle's dB Killer is a hollow metal tube, whose external diameter is smaller than the inner part of the exhaust's end. The dB Killer is situated within the exhaust's final section.
It carries the information regarding aftermarket exhaust:-
That means such exhaust are not street legal and therefore not restrained by all the rules that stock exhausts must follow. So while your bike's stock pipe has to check a bunch of noise and emissions boxes, aftermarket exhausts' only objectives are to cut weight, improve sound, add style, and boost power.
1) Header: This is the part of the exhaust system that connects to the engine's exhaust ports.
2) Mid-Pipe/Collector: The mid-pipe connects the header to the muffler or rear section of the exhaust.
3) Catalytic Converter: In many full exhaust systems, a high-flow catalytic converter is included to reduce harmful emissions by converting pollutants in the exhaust gasses into less harmful substances.
4) Muffler: The muffler is the component responsible for reducing exhaust noise.
5) Tip: The tip is the final section of the exhaust system that expels the exhaust gasses out of the motorcycle.
