We get started with a sunrise launch into Bull's Bay near McClellanville. The shrimp baiting season in South Carolina begins in September and lasts sixty days, into early November. There are several thousand licenses issued each season for these recreational shrimpers, and each has a favored place and process. Rick Kellahan of Meggett, South Carolina, took us to one his favorite fisheries.
