Mitre saws are now very common and can be picked up very inexpensively. It is however very important that these machines are used safely to avoid potential injuries to the mitre saw use. This video looks at using the sliding mitre saw in a safe manner and shows which personal protective equipment should be used when using these useful machines. As a bare minimum I wear safety glasses and hearing protection each time the machine is used, but when cutting metal or masonry on the evolution sliding mitre saw I then wear even more PPE and add a full face visor and ear defenders.
