The second piece of "Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major" composed by J.S. Bach was later arranged in C major for violin and piano by August Welhemmi.
It is called "Aria on the G string" because it was arranged to be played only on the lowest violin string, the G string.

The bass line with octave movement creates a pleasant swaying sound, and combined with the warm melody, it creates the ultimate healing effect.

For me, it is a song that soothes my soul!
