I recently picked up this Disston D8 hand saw to replace the rip saw I have been using in the woodshop for the last couple years. The saw was in pretty rough shape so in this video, I show how I cleaned it up and sharpened it. My goal was to keep the character and patina of this 100+ year old hand saw but still make it an excellent every day user.
