NEW UPDATE! ASABA HARUMASA EARLY KIT & ABILITIES | Zenless Zone Zero

#LDShop #Asaba #Miyabi

Transcript- Welcome Proxies, So Today, we’re diving into the kit of Asaba Harumasa, a tactical marksman who excels at mobility, trap-based zoning, and precise attacks. He’s all about battlefield control, using his agility and traps to outsmart and outmaneuver opponents.

At the core of his playstyle is Harumasa's ability to stay on the move while dishing out damage. His Aimed Shot allows him to reposition as he attacks, letting him dodge enemy pressure and keep up his offensive output. This mechanic shares similarities with Grace’s movement-based attacks, making Harumasa incredibly difficult to pin down during combat.

Another key feature in Harumasa's arsenal is his Taunt animation, reminiscent of Lighter’s. This could be more than just a flashy move; it might allow Harumasa to manipulate enemy behavior or even trigger specific effects. But the real heart of his kit is his trap mechanics. Harumasa can place traps on the battlefield, which last for 10 seconds before exploding automatically. However, what makes these traps particularly deadly is that Harumasa can detonate them early by entering Aiming Mode and shooting at them, giving him control over when and where the explosions occur. This opens up a world of strategic possibilities for zoning and battlefield manipulation.

His basic arrow attacks also apply a mark to enemies, though it’s not entirely clear what this mark does just yet. It might synergize with his traps, possibly enhancing damage or triggering additional effects when enemies are marked and in range of his traps. One thing is certain: effective trap management is essential for Harumasa players. You can have up to six traps active at any time, and placing new traps after reaching this limit will automatically detonate the oldest traps. This forces players to think ahead, adding a deeper layer of strategy to Harumasa’s gameplay.

Trap generation is spread across Harumasa’s kit. His Special ability and unique Counter mechanic each generate two traps, while his basic attacks, EX Special, and Chain Attack contribute to the trap count as well. The Counter mechanic is an interesting aspect of Harumasa’s design, though it doesn’t appear to work like traditional defensive assists. Instead, it seems to be a standalone feature, further emphasizing Harumasa's ability to outplay opponents through careful positioning and timing.

In summary, Asaba Harumasa is designed for players who enjoy tactical combat—those who want to outsmart their opponents by controlling the battlefield with traps, all while staying highly mobile and landing precision attacks.

And remember, while this breakdown of Harumasa’s kit gives us a lot of exciting possibilities, take it with a pinch of salt, as things may change in future updates or official reveals.
