Question: What if I'm facing a Left-Hander? (vice versa)

It is the same thing, you hold your stance to provide alignment (remain a weapon), and balance in your hips to ensure mobility.

How well this works on lefthanders/Southpaws is the reason I adhered to this style. I was not going to allow an opponent who wasn't better than me give me problems because he was born lefthanded.

If you hold your TRUE BOXERS STANCE, keeping your opponent at the end of your RIFLE (sight alignment) will ensure you are not squared up for the SOUTHPAWS offense .

Conventional boxing wisdom, and standard gym teachings will tell you to keep your lead foot to the outside of the opposite-handed fighter. The reason this works is your rear hand is given an open line of access as the opponent will often open their stance for the readjustment.

By using the TRUE BOXER STANCE, your opponent will not be given any advantage by moving to their left or right because their SIGHT PICTURE will not change. The traditional positioning advantage for Orthodox vs. Southpaw become null and void.

Do not give your opponent credit for hitting you,
take the blame for standing in the wrong spot.
