Brian wanted to make a cool rocky grassland scene. This is basically an Unreal landscape with a grassy quixel texture on it, plus a bunch of variously sized quixel rocks scattered around. The horse and animations are from the Marketplace, as is the light warrior rider.

One of the things he wanted to test was adding a Niagara particle element to the horse's run cycle, which causes the hooves to kick up debris and dust with each step. Collisions are on so the debris gets kicked up and then scatters across the ground a bit.

He has no idea what's causing the popping render artifacts in the landscape grass, and there are some tweaks he wants to make, but it's looking good for a first test.

The shot was slowed down to 75% with Optical Flow processing in Resolve, and a bit of grain was added.
