We got this big armoire from San Jose, someone was discarding it. It was six feet tall, very old vintage piece, absolutely covered in paint. It was very sturdy, the sides were made out of old plywood. I removed the paint and stained the whole thing. I made some bevelled legs out of scrap wood and gave the whole thing a mid century modern look. This is a pretty extreme level of furniture transformation. This project was completed on a very tight budget. I was able to quickly sell this piece on FBMP. But maybe I should have given it a higher price tag. This was meant to be a quick furniture flip with some light wood working, but I managed to make it more difficult than it needed to be.

Special thanks to Chris Gearhart at www.bentrodflyfishing.com for helping this project happen.
