Today, I’m showing you how to create a morph ball upgrade in Game Builder Garage. On the surface this can seem like a hard feature to implement, but we can get a pretty good working version with only about 50 nodon. To simplify it, we simply have a Character person, and a ball person - and use logic to switch which is currently being used as the player character.
We break it down into basic steps. First we create the “Ball person”, then add a character switching camera, state switching logic, and finally tie it all together with the right teleports.
