Review of Kia EV3 SUV 2024. More compact than the EV9 with a range of up to 600 km.

Kia has unveiled the all-new EV3, another vehicle in its all-electric lineup that will be offered in global markets including Europe and the US. The compact crossover is visually similar to a smaller version of the Kia EV9, which promises a range of up to 600 km in the Long Range version and is equipped with a host of technologies. EV3 sales will begin later this year; Kia doesn't give an exact date.
Externally, EV3 uses modern stylistic elements. The front end is characterized by vertical headlights with updated LED graphics on the lighting units, which are connected to each other by an LED strip. Other features include
slightly modified bumpers and wider pillars. The compact crossover is visually reminiscent of its big brother EV9, but the overall front end is more rounded.
The profile features square wheel arches and 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, giving the car a modern look. Retractable door handles and black accents complete the overall look. The rear features LED taillights and a narrow rear window. The Kia EV3 is built on the widely used E-GMP platform, although it has a 400-volt architecture. At launch, it will be available with one electric motor and two battery options. Both versions are equipped with one electric motor on the front axle with a power
204 horsepower and 283 Nm of torque, providing the best acceleration time from 0 to
100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The maximum speed is stated at 170 km/h. In the future, the electric car will have a more powerful modification, the EV3 GT, which will be equipped with two engines. The basic version will receive a 58.3-kilowatt battery, this should be enough for reserve
travel up to 410 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. Charging is possible with alternating current with a power of up to 11 kW, fast charging with direct current is possible with a maximum of 102 kW.
More expensive and long-range - a battery with a capacity of 81.4 kWh, the range increases to 600 km. Thanks to the large battery, the Kia charges at up to 128 kW. Both models will take about 30 minutes on a fast charger to charge from 10 to 80 percent.
The interior of the new Kia EV3 is spacious and made from recycled materials. According to Kia, the car contains 28.5 kilograms of recycled plastic. The large display, familiar from EV9, with a total size of 30 inches, attracts attention. It consists of two
12.3-inch monitors and one 5.3-inch monitor, integrating the instrument cluster, infotainment system and climate control. A 12.3" driver head-up display is also available. An interesting detail is the center console with a pull-out table and storage space. The bottom area can store drinks, snacks and other small items, and laptops and tablets can be placed on the table when
the car is standing. There will also be a reclining function for the front two seats. This means you can take a break while the battery charges. From the steering wheel you can control many of the EV3's functions, including drive mode, cruise control, entertainment and navigation. A row of buttons below the infotainment screen controls functions such as maps and media, among other things. Kia provides over-the-air updates. Digital
the key can be configured for seven people. Kia also promises the latest driving assistance systems called Motorway Assistant 2.0 and Smart Cruise Control 2.
EV3 also introduces a new one-pedal driving system called i-Pedal 3 and 0. It
Features adjustable regeneration accessible via steering wheel paddle shifters.
