Relocating Hornets is super important! I make it a point of relocating at least 10 wasp nests a season, but this year was different. This year, I relocated a European Hornets' nest and filmed its progression EVERY DAY for 3.5 months! I dedicated so much time into documenting the production of this colony to make sure I capture all the various aspects of its growth! This nest was an absolute MONSTER! It grew MASSIVE!
Despite the stigma of wasps (Hornets and Yellow Jackets), they are PARAMOUNT in the ecosystem, and do their part. Preserving colonies is super important, and I like to do my part.

Following this colony so closely this season from July 7th, 2022 through November 24, 2022, I got to witness so many things that other observers never got a chance to witness! And I share them all in this video! The queen laying her eggs; how she lays them; how they communicate and coordinate colony production, and how they destruct the nest just to build the nest bigger and stronger! Nature is amazing, and Hornets give us a vivid glimpse into nature's beauty and design!
