Spinal cord & brain lesions cause problems with walking. Other symptoms include: Balance problems, Electric-shock sensations on the back, Muscle weakness, Paralysis, cognitive dysfunction, Tremors, Vision problems. Only one Disease modifying therapy is FDA-approved to treat PPMS. There are no treatments that completely prevent disabling effects of PPMS. 🧡

Funds raised through Stream to End MS help fund groundbreaking research and support programs and services. Donations will be used where most needed to help support the Society’s mission. Here are some symbolic giving levels to help share where funds go:

+$30: Purchases a learning license for two MS support group leaders
+$50: Supports an outreach visit with an MS healthcare provider
+$100: Allows a person to participate in a clinical trial for 3 days
+$500: Provides an AC unit to someone who needs help managing their symptoms
+$1,000: Provides an auto modification to help people living with MS maintain driving independence
