Maybe the book Jurassic Park was a cautionary tale, but the movie really was not. The movie ends up being more about the need to get a wide range of data from diverse fields before proceeding with caution to mass market products. Crichton was a climate denier who was distrustful of science. Crichton's comments have been used to justify bad faith arguments against all kids of solid science.
