Located about 50 minutes by boat from Tongyeong, Yokjido is one of the larger islands in the area and is a relatively developed place with many facilities for traveling.

In 2024, I traveled to Yokjido twice by boat. The first trip was a trip themed on the Milky Way, and the second trip was to capture the beautiful scenery of the island. Yokjido is relatively inexpensive and short, so you can travel without any burden, and since boats depart from various ports, you can conveniently enjoy the island's scenery.

When I first arrived at Yokjido, a ship sank in the sea not far away, and search boats were moving busily. I learned of this after I had already loaded my vehicle onto the boat and set sail. If I had known a little earlier, I could have used a drone to help with the search in a wide radius, but I still remember searching all over the beach at night, and I regret that I could have been of some help.
