A timelapse of building the rock pad and base frame for our new farrowing huts. Farrowing huts are special areas for piglets to be safely born and maximize survival rates. Our huts will have heated mini-dens for newborn piglets, a resting bench for humans while helping piglets be born (this can take over 12 hours!) and of course plenty of space for both Smudge and Blueberry to be comfortable during birth and important weeks after.
