Updated Thoughts (2020):
Wow, those were some dramatic opening titles. Rewatching this for the first time in-- gosh 7 years —is quite a treat! I’m surprised with the ambition and experimenting going on. Moving deep background wide shots? Intentful lighting and color? Original scores? (loops, yes, but still!) Visual effects?! There’s stuff being attempted in here I wouldn’t try again for years. I’m surprised how much fun I had watching this one!

Original description (2012):
"Dana and Phil enjoy the limelight as the dedicated detectives, and Karli tries her hand at forensics, creative writing, and brutal murder. Jordan, meanwhile, cameos as the chief-of-police, doing what he does best (harassment), and tries experimenting with film angles (acceptable), title sequences ("Four Stars" -Mr. Jarzabek) audio scoring (all self-made tracks! not bad for a musically talentless hack!), and special effects (lessons are learned). Does anyone see an N.Y.P.D. Queens tie-in? Who knows..."
